BrainsWay Updates Line Item in 2021 First Quarter Financial Results

CRESSKILL, N.J. and JERUSALEM, May 24, 2021 -- BrainsWay Ltd. (NASDAQ & TASE: BWAY) (“BrainsWay” or the “Company”), a global leader in advanced noninvasive neurostimulation treatments for mental health disorders, is reporting an update for a non-cash charge to its unaudited financial results relating to stock-based compensation for the three months ended March 31, 2021 previously reported on May 19, 2021. Operating expenses as originally reported were $6.8 million, resulting in an operating loss of $2.2 million and a net loss of $2.7 million. The corrected amount for operating expenses is $5.5 million, resulting in an operating loss of $0.8 million and a net loss of $1.4 million. Total shareholder equity and cash flow from operations were not affected by the correction, which was attributed to a clerical error in the currency exchange conversion from NIS to US Dollars.
